The Bosque County Amateur Radio Club
& Repeater Association

The BCARC meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7pm at the Clifton Texas Fire Station. We are in the process of forming a VE team, when established we will conduct testing before the meetings.

The Club owns & operates 2 wide-area repeaters in the Central Texas area:
W5BCR on 147.180 and 444.400, both having a 123.0 tone. They are operated as open repeaters and all amateur radio operators in the area are invited to use them.

The BCARC members provide many hours of public service each year including: sponsoring an annual SKYWARN school, providing trained Storm Spotters in contact with local Emergency Mgmt. and providing Communications Support for local events such as the Valley Mills 4th of July Parade, bike-a-thons, etc.
